Classic Kitchen Design

When they decided to remodel their kitchen, the Potters of Mechanicsburg knew exactly who they wanted to work with, having previously completed a bathroom remodel with Excel and design team member Brian Miller. They couldn’t be happier with the results.

“We asked for a classic and timeless kitchen, and Excel exceeded our goal,” said Cindi Potter. “We had every confidence in Brian to design the kitchen that would be perfect for us, and he certainly delivered.” As part of the remodel, the single window above the sink was replaced with two windows, allowing much more natural light into the space. An existing closet off the kitchen was also transformed into a mudroom with convenient hooks for hanging jackets and bags, and a seating/storage bench with cheerful yellow accent pillows. Other considerations in the design included a beverage station, an expanded kitchen island with plenty of seating, and a quartz backsplash behind the stove that complements the center island.

The Potters love spending time in their new kitchen. “Even just sitting here in the morning, having breakfast, is so enjoyable to me,” said Cindi. See more pictures of this kitchen, and contact us to discuss your dreams for your kitchen!
