Hummelstown, PA

Before the remodel, this typical suburban bathroom was lacking personality and was not particularly inviting or convenient for the home owners’ children. Taking design inspiration from a piece of seahorse wall art, the space was transformed with comfort, convenience and character in mind. A lower-to-the-ground vanity with increased drawer storage features a custom glass insert with backlighting to illuminate its etched sea-themed decor. The space is also big on texture, with a unique Caesarstone countertop, graystone stained hard maple cabinetry, and gray “stained cement” tile flooring. A vertical stripe of colored tiling adds  an accent to the shower wall, and rustic wooden-framed mirrors finish off the look to create a special kids’ bathroom with an inviting, yet sophisticated appeal.
