This kitchen remodel utilized the same original footprint of the space, but solved a common dilemma for many home owners… lack of storage space. As you can see from the before pictures, cabinet space was very limited in the original kitchen. This in turn affected the counter work space as the counter space was also being used for storage. In designing the remodel, upper and lower cabinetry was maximized to accommodate all the home owners’ storage needs. The new cabinets extend to the ceiling, which also makes the kitchen feel larger and the custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and stone backsplash further update and elevate this new culinary space that now has a storage place for everything – including a large lower drawer for holding sheet pans and cookie sheets.
