Old Meets New Kitchen

A butcher-block cabinetry piece from the original kitchen was incorporated into the new design, and now serves the centerpiece furniture on the blue-and-white accent wall in the newly renovated space. A mix of rich wood lower cabinets and crisp white upper cabinets gives the new space character and adds an updated, yet classic, feel to the lightened and brightened space.  Seating around the peninsula offers a view of the action and opens up the floor space, and the new hardwood flooring creates an easy flow into the family dining and living areas.
