This family’s kitchen and bath before the remodel featured dark wood and stone, as well as woodsy wallpaper in the bathroom. The family wanted to keep elements of the original design in keeping with the rest of their home decor, but wanted to update both the utility and the aesthetic of the kitchen and bath. The kitchen was brightened with white cabinetry and granite counters and granite backsplash, and a former secretary table was updated with new cabinetry as well. Tile flooring was updated to a beautiful wood flooring which brings warmth and natural beauty to the space. A matching corner hutch in the dining area was also replaced with a complementary white corner cabinet. The bathroom was updated with new vanity cabinetry and the formerly tiled bathtub and shower combination was remodeled to create a large walk-in shower. A diamond-tile motif from the former kitchen backsplash was recreated in the new shower area as an accent.
